Im Zusammenhang mit dem heutigen Eintrag (Neue Konfrontation Ost-West!<\/a> … ) weist mich Freund Norman, Professor em. aus Washington und guter Kenner der europäischen wie der US-amerikanischen Scene, auf einen analytischen Artikel in der New York Times hin. Er schreibt: “Complete confirmation of the role of the Georgians is given in today’s NY Times article on how the US responded to Putin’s warnings….article by Helen Cooper et al…..I believe that the situation is quite dangerous and entails the real possibility of an armed conflict between US and Soviet forces with possibly catastrophic consequences…” Albrecht Müller.
